Characteristics:
Situated mid-slope, this parcel produces a wine with
aromas of spring flowers (acacia, hawthorn) and plums.
To accompany: The wine has slight
buttery and toasted overtones, and is often livelier
than ‘Les Genièvrières’ or
‘Les Combettes’. It can be drunk young as
an aperitif, or, after several years of ageing, as an
accompaniment to poultry or fish.
Ageing/storing/laying down : 5 to 10
years.
