Characteristics: This
parcel of land had been one of the best of the Mâconnais
at the beginning of the 19th century, but was left out
of the reclassification of vine-growing land in 1935.
Uncultivated since the phylloxera epidemic, the domain
started replanting this parcel in 1983. The wine produced
is warm, round, and soft in the mouth.
To accompany: With hints of citrus fruits,
this wine can be drunk as an aperitif, or with white meats.
After three or four years, this wine goes very well with
poultry and fish.
Ageing/storing/laying down : This wine
can be laid down for anything up to between 10 and 15
years, depending on the vintage.
